LED headlight repair by post works the same from anywhere in the UK or Ireland: you send us the headlight, we repair the electronics inside it and post it back ready to fit. The car stays at home. Repairing costs a fraction of a new LED unit, and the repair comes with a warranty.
Which LED headlight faults we repair
An LED headlight rarely dies all at once. Usually one part of it fails, and that part can be repaired.
- A dead LED module or chip: one section of the beam has gone dark.
- A failed driver or power supply: the headlight doesn't come on at all.
- Flickering, cutting out, or a headlight fault warning on the dashboard.
- A light guide or strip that no longer lights.
- Dynamic (sweeping) indicators that only light part of the way, or not at all.
Headlight LED repair is done on your own unit, so there is no coding or adaptation of a new headlight afterwards.
Daytime running lights not working
If the daytime running lights have stopped working on one side, the fault is almost always inside the headlight: the DRL strip, its driver, or a broken track on the flexible circuit that carries the LEDs.
DRL repair means opening the unit, repairing or replacing the failed part, and resealing the headlight. Send us a photo with the lights on: the pattern of what still works tells us a lot before anything is posted.
What we can't repair
We repair the headlight, not the car. The following is outside what we do:
- Wiring, fuses or control modules on the car side of the connector.
- New replacement headlights, bulbs or conversion kits.
- Fitting the repaired unit to the car.
How the repair by post works
Send us photos of the headlight, the make, model, registration and VIN, and we quote within 24 hours. The quote confirms the courier, the cost of shipping both ways, the transit time and how to pay, before you send anything. Once you accept, the headlight travels to the workshop, is repaired in about 72 hours there, and is posted back. From the UK, contact us first: the customs paperwork is set out in the quote.

Price and warranty
Repairs start from €400. The fixed price comes with the quote, once we have seen the photos and the registration.
